The Scale of Water, Bath Spa University

The Scale of Water, Michael Pennie Gallery, Locksbrook Campus, Bath Spa University invites us to explore different works by individual artists and investigate the variety of perspectives that each work holds. We encounter water as a timekeeper and a holder of deeply held secrets. We discover water as an artistic collaborator in one piece, while in another, it is a contested territory over which conflicts arise. The poetic and the political coexist alongside the alien and the familiar. But above all, we witness how water shapes our planet, our lives, and our imaginations. Runs from 18^th April – 12^th May 2024.
