An early work with its first representation in A Space Between at Thelma Hulbert Gallery. The photogram works could be described as ‘drawings with light’. Conceptually it relates to seared sheepskin parchment works, in both I was thinking about genetic fragility and how beauty can be created through damage. The glass sperms were made at a scientific glass blowing course at Westminster College soon after graduating from the Royal College of Art and the photograms made in 2005.
